Passion fruit

A 3-Ingredient Detox Breakfast

Fancy starting your day with something that's both delicious and brilliant for your post-holiday reset?

This tropical breakfast bowl is an absolute must to make and uses our star detox fruits. It's fresh, zingy, and will have you feeling tip-top in no time!

What You'll Need

  • 1 ripe papaya
  • 2 passion fruits
  • 1 dragon fruit (pink variety for a gorgeous pop of colour)

That's it! No fancy ingredients, no complicated steps – just pure fruity goodness.

How to Make It

  1. Cut your papaya in half lengthways and scoop out the seeds (pop these aside - they're brilliant in salad dressings!)
  2. Scoop the papaya flesh directly into your favourite breakfast bowl
  3. Cut the dragon fruit in half and scoop out the flesh. Roughly chop it into bite-sized pieces and add to your bowl
  4. Halve your passion fruits and spoon the pulp over the top
  5. You can also add a bit of lemon juice, spices  on top.

And you're done!

Why This Works

  • Papaya gets your digestion going first thing
  • Dragon fruit gives you a proper energy boost
  • Passion fruit adds a lovely tang and helps with those sweet cravings

Top Tips

  • Choose a papaya that gives slightly when pressed - if it's too firm, it won't be sweet enough
  • Give your passion fruits a little shake - if you can hear the seeds moving, they're perfect
  • Dragon fruit should be slightly springy when squeezed

When to Enjoy

Perfect for:

  • A fresh start to your morning
  • A light lunch when you're feeling a bit sluggish
  • An afternoon pick-me-up when you need a boost

Storage Tips

Best enjoyed fresh, but if you're meal prepping:

  • Cut fruits just before eating for the best flavour
  • Store whole fruits in the fridge for up to 3 days
  • Dragon fruit and papaya can be pre-cut and stored for 24 hours

Total time: 5 minutes Serves: 1 generous portion Difficulty level: Easy peasy!
